More of a scenery route. Heavily traveled during the summer months. The retreating Columbia Glacier is the main thing. Lots of wildlife and camera snappers. Best part is immediately north of Saskatchewan River Crossing to the Icefields. High mountain roads so be prepared. Heated vests recommended. Only one fuel stop between Jasper and Lake Louise.
