255 can be hit or miss. Close to 800 it's pretty damned interesting, however the closer you get to Ohio Rt. 7 the pavement deteriorates a bit, the gravel starts showing up a bit more and there's sometimes construction on that part. Still wholly worth the ride, but it's not exactly jaw dropping on the East end, due to those conditions. Great views, though. I would also add that the section near 800 is fresh black top, as of early 2020, and lasts 3/4 of the road before turning into 'meh' pavement. That fresh black top is very confidence inspiring.
Another one of SE Ohio's curvy fun. To tell the truth, when I was riding, I didn't notice the scenery because you have to pay attention to the road ;) When I did stop, it is pretty - rolling hills and very green.
Nice surface with nice curves, very enjoyable
