This is the route that I frequented before I had my real license in Switzerland as you are not allowed to cross borders as a temporary permit holder. On sunny days this route provides gorgeous scenery, including the lake Geneva, mountains, farms, vines, forests, and cute little towns. I recommend taking the rural part on your way from Geneva to the St.Cergue and then taking the lakeside part on your way back, that way you can really absorb the openness of the lake and the view of alps ahead of you as descending from St.Cergue to the lakeside cities. Very pretty, a couple of really nice straights, many nice corners throughout St.Cergue-Begnins. Getting out and getting back in Geneva is a hassle during the commuting time but otherwise a very, very pleasant route.
