There is a very good road up to the Sierra Nevada ski resort, wide, decent visability and good surface. Can get up plenty of speed through corners but beware when coming down that it can be pretty steep.

There is the odd cafe / restaurant open at the resort, even in summer. I am sure you get a great view from the top, unfotunately it was hazey when i went up.

Great bends, not much traffic (July 08), road goes to over 2,000m so i would not recommend road in the winter, as i am sure there will be lots of ice and snow.

BEWARE - its cold at ski resort, even in height of summer.
