leaving Dunkeld heading towards Hall´s Gap, the road has mostly nice long sweeping corners. Great surface and expansive scenery. A really sweet part of the ride. On the weekends watch for tourists and the local police who patrol up and down the hall´s gap road. At the turn off onto Victoria Valley everything changes... the scenery is wide open country, old farms, ancient fences, heaps of towering gum trees, and even Emu´s in the paddocks. The road degrades a little, and gets a little skinny here and there, but you really do feel as though you are alone on the road. From there staraight back to Dunkeld, and other traffic. Great ride.
