Here´s a great ride for those looking to experience some of the glorious Great Ocean Road but not the full palava.
Accompanied by my ride partner we started off at Torquay and headed to Lorne via the Great Ocean Road. It´s not a long ride but you will experience one glorious coastal view after another as you enjoy those twisties.
A quick bevvie and a bite to eat at Lorne and it was time to hit the road again. Instead of returning via the route we came, we headed inland to Deans Marsh & Winchelsea. We were rewarded with all you could ask for; twisties, bush scenery, some open straights and very little traffic.
A short squirt on and we are at Geelong ready to head back to the big smoke.
If you are in the area with an hour or two spare, mount up and enjoy.

Note: Our ride was done on Sunday 12 July 2015 and it was a very cold and very wet day. Despite the conditions we enjoyed every moment of this ride and looking forward to returning on a fine and warm day.
