A very nice stretch of curves with a nice scenery, crowned by a visit to the monastery itself (which I did not do due to lack of time). Getting in and out of the area involves about an hour of motorway but it is worth it if you do not have much time and/or have to return to Barcelona.
Just about 1 hour outside of Barcelona rises mountains with a monestary at the peak. This truly odd geographical formation resembles a large African antnest setting upon a table top. The roads are in great condition and offer specatacular views and curves for all skill levels. Don pass up the tram to the very top putting you at the highest point as far as your eyes can see!!! My favorite attraction on the Eastern side of Spain!!!
