Its a good route to do on the way home from work, but not worth a long trip to do. The route takes you through a few speed restrictions (40mph through Penmynydd - cop speed check) and watch when you drop into Llangefni from the national limit (into the 30 limit... its another speed check site). Better routes available locally but worth a bimble in good weather or as an add on to a visit to Anglesey.
A great road, quiet, consistent and generally good quality. There's hardly a straight section anywhere, mid high hedges mean that distance visibility isn't great at times, but as long as you don't push your lucky there will be no surprises. Easily the best road I've found on the island of anglesey.
