great route

A great ride, I do it regularly and have never been disappointed. Stop at the car park by Holme Moss radio mast for views (always) and ice cream (summer weekends)

This is an awesome route from Barnsley junct 37 to holmfirth, Holme, glossop, snake pass, rivelin valley, grenoside (Sheffield) back to Barnsley. Little bit of town work but mostly rural, careful of the bumps coming down Through Holme but look at the views totally amazing, can stop at snake pass for a cool down and then carry on back to Barnsley, ideal route to pick up from holmfirth area or Sheffield, good 70 mile trip and worth an afternoon out! Watch out for sheep on the Holme/glossop and snake section!
