We call it the Deuce Deuce, but it's also know just as Hwy 22. It's a popular bike route for the locals so you will encounter plenty of other riders. It rides the northern edge of the Maurepas Swamp. It crosses the Diversion canal. It has a great view of the Amite river just past Ashton Rd to Val's Marina with the twisties beginning soon after. Crosses a metal grate swing-bridge at Clio. It takes you over the high, curved bridge near Tin Lizzy's Landing. Springfield is not a town you want to exceed the speed limit in.
