Road this route yesterday and it is being upgraded. Apart from 10km of intermittent road works this route remains a fabulous. The road up the pass itself is a joy with a great road surface
Surely one of the most dangerous roads in Morocco? But truly fantastic, great assortment of corners, large buses stacked up with people poking out of the top and completely crazt local drivers travelling faster than you would think possible or safe. Watch out for the people selling oil by the roadside and be aware that kids may throw stones at you as you travel past, but most are just curious. Leaving your bike outside in Marrakech not recommended, enjoy North Africa!
