I didn't do middle part of the road, because of closure. I was thinking why 5 stars on way from Onda up, it's nice, surface is good, but nothing so special. I changed my mind in section after Zucaina, it is extraordinary.

This is a beautiful mountain road with exceptionally good tarmac. Extremely good fun due to the amount and variety of bends. It's a very popular road amongst local riders. Best I've ridden hands down.
Just make sure you visit the main square in Montanejos (it's full of friendly fellow riders). But then, you'll need the break as your forearms will be burning!
