Nice run through the countryside. Nice if a little hazardous road because of mixed visibility, thoroughly enjoyable outside peak times.
I also use this road when going down to Rye.
I've done this one a couple of times now and really enjoyed it. Lots of corners and great countryside. I carried on, on the A28 to Ashford, which is also real good, and then A251, Ashford to Faversham, which is great aswell. Theres also a big bike meet on the A251 on Sundays at a pub there. Be aware that the meet has the usual Ace cafe style bike cops hanging around pretending they're not checking us out.
This is one of my routes down to Rye, and it's all good!!
a lovely road, although not quite what i was expecting! that's no bad thing though, the views were brilliant and i'll def go back there. either in a car or on a bike you won't be dissapointed, just about every pub looked great...
Excellent road for a good blast or for those wanting to practice. Tight bends are well marked. Ideal in the colder months due to lack of traffic, can get busy in spring/summer.
