This 330km route winds us northeast from Gore via the (narrow in places) Moa Flat Road, then highway 2 and up onto the nice State Highway 85 This route has a low level of traffic and some nice curves as well as some things to see (notably the viewing platform into the massive gold mine at Macraes Flat.
