This route have potential. But it is reconstructed now a days. Really often, half of the road is missing, lot of traffic lights, dirt and trucks working on construction. But I think it will be great wide twisty road with great surface once after they finish it.
Starts off with long straight sections with average surface and quite open surface quite rough on straights where it has not been renewed (there was evidence of fairly extensive renovation works that I saw). From about Carpinet south becomes a fun twisty, bumpy mountain section through foret sections. Surface is too rough to really be enjoyed on a stiffly sprung bike but on my GS it was excellent fun. There can the occasional logging truck and debris on the road but I enjoyed it a lot as there was not much traffic and the road has a very nice flow.
