better start from Sparta to Kalamata,be carefull at the beginning(slides a little)but after the mountain peak enjoy the gorge and just twist the throttle to powerslide at corner exits,road surface really abrasive!!!

Use: All bikes
Leave Kalamata heading south towards Mani region and turn left to join road 82 for the vigorous mountain of Taigetos, a windy road with beautiful views all the way. A stop is due at Mistras huge castle, is a must to visit the place on this route. Couple of hours is needed to walk all the area of the castle and satisfaction will be in high levels, scenery wise as well. Then continue towards Sparta, the famous little town which use to born and raise the famous tough warriors of ancient Greece. The small town of Sparta now days have nothing spectacular to offer only the views of Taigetos mountains showing off how wild it is. There are some places of ancient Sparta around the area, seek information and directions.
