This route has three distinct sections:\r\nThe scenery is spectacular the whole time and the asphalt is in very good condition.\r\n1. Le Seu d´Urgell to Tuixent (37km). Narrow twist-fest through the forested foothills of the Cadi-Moixera. Steep gradients the whole way with one curve leading directly to another and no straights to speak of. Very low traffic volumes. \r\nIncludes a beautiful viewpoint at 16km, Mirador de la Trava. \r\n\r\n2. Tuixent to Sant Llorenç de Morunys (27km). Lots of hairpins, wonderful scenery and more steep gradients. Views are a lot more open than the earlier section as the trees this out and the road is not so narrow.\r\nSant Llorenç de Morunys is a lovely mountain town with good cafes and a fuel station. \r\nA brief detour 13km east on the LV-4241 is very worthwhile from here until the road surface deteriorates when the LV-4241 becomes the BV-4241.\r\n\r\n3. Sant Llorenç de Morunys to Solsona (25km). Faster and more open and flowing than the previous mountainous sections. A stop at the dam ´La Llosa del cavall provides very fine vistas.\r\n\r\n
